The romantic sojourn starts in Hanoi, a fascinating city that exudes historical charm. Together, explore the museums, wander through the maze of streets in the city’s old quarter or delight in the dazzling pagodas of Northern Vietnam. Moving south, the heritage harbour town of Hoi An mesmerises with its quaint traditional architecture, cafes and art galleries. Especially, you’ll have the great time for relaxing on Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam’s premier beach destinations dominated by golden sand, crystalline waters and underwater adventures.

Day 1: Arrival at Hanoi (D, G)

Arriving at Noi Bai airport in Hanoi, you’ll be met and driven to your hotel. Claret and flowers will be waiting in your room. Rest of the day, you’ll be free to stroll around the city as you wish. Begin your new life with a a romantic dinner with candlelight and music. You’ll spend the night in Hanoi.

 

Day 2: Hanoi City tour (B, G)

In the morning, your driver will take you to a spa centre for a relaxing holistic body treatment. After lunch at a first-class Vietnamese restaurant, you’ll have time to do as you wish. If you fancy shopping, Silk Street in the Old Quarter is a good place for art galleries, embroidery, lacquer ware, silver articles, and jewellery. Your overnight stay will be in Hanoi.

 

Day 3: Hanoi/Ha Long (B, L, D, G)

8.30: You’ll leave for Ha Long Bay, one of the most spectacular UNESCO World Heritage Areas and the world’s largest marine limestone ‘karst’ landscape.

10.00: You’ll take a short break at Hong Ngoc Embroidery workshop.

10.30 – 12.00: You’ll continue driving to Ha Long Bay.

12.00: You’ll board your boat, a wooden junk built from the model of the old Vietnamese court vessels with sails, a wide transom and rectangular superstructure, that will take you first to the busy World Heritage area and then to some of the less well-known grottoes and caves. Weather permitting, you’ll be able to swim, fish, climb a hill for an overview of the Bay’s remarkable seascape. All your meals will be provided on board, usually based on fresh seafood.

You’ll spend the night on the boat.

 

Day 4: Ha Long/Hanoi/Danang (B, L, G see off)

7.30: You’ll have western breakfast on boat.

8.00 – 8.30: You’ll venture into some of the sea level caves in a small sampan.

8.30 – 11.45: You’ll spend the morning cruising Ha Long Bay, followed by lunch just before docking to the harbour.

11.45 – 16.15: You’ll come back Hanoi for the flight to Danang. On arrivel, you’ll be picked up and taken to your hotel in Hoi An for check in.

 

Day 5 and Day 6: Hoi An free (B)

The day will be free for strolling in the town, lazing on the beach, or whatever takes your fancy. You’ll spend the night in Hoi An.

 

Day 7: Hoi An/Danang/Ho Chi Minh (B)

Your time will be your own until your private car and driver arrives to take you to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Arriving at Tan Son Nhat airport, you’ll be driven to your hotel. Rest of the day, you’ll be free to stroll around the city as you wish. You’ll spend the night in Ho Chi Minh City.

 

Day 8: Ho Chi Minh City/Phu Quoc (B, G in Ho Chi Minh City)

With half day tour, you’ll visit Centre Post Office with colonial building and the Cathedral Church. You’ll then be driven to visit the Jade Emperor Temple. It’s one of the best Taoist temples in Vietnam, with superb effigies, remarkable carved panels of the descent to Hell and somewhat incongruous terrapin and tortoise sanctuaries. You’ll have approximately two hour to visit Ben Thanh market, one of the liveliest areas of Ho Chi Minh City,

In the afternoon, you’ll catch a flight to Phu Quoc. On arrival, the car will take you to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day will be your own. You’ll spend the night in Phu Quoc.

 

Day 9 ~ 10: Phu Quoc free (B)

Your time will be your own!

 

Day 11: Phu Quoc/Ho Chi Minh City (B)

You’ll be free and then be picked up to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. On your arrival at the Tan Son Nhat airport, you’ll be driven to your hotel. You’ll spend the night in Ho Chi Minh City.

 

Day 12: Ho Chi Minh City departure (B)

Prices include:

  • Breakfast and accommodation in double room.
  • All pick up and transfer.
  • Travel by private, air-conditioned vehicle with an experienced driver.
  • Boats cruise as programme
  • Domestic flight ticket: Hanoi-Danang-Ho Chi Minh City, Ho Chi Minh-Phu Quoc-Ho Chi Minh including airport taxes.
  • Experienced English-speaking tour guide as indicated in the itinerary.
  • Entry fees for all sightseeing as mentioned in the programme.
  • Lunches and dinners, as specified, in the local restaurants
