  1. Guide (s):

We found that all guides were helpful and helped us to enjoy our holiday. I realised there was a miscommunication in Central Vietnam, but that was quickly sorted out. My only recommendation from this is that if all the guides had the exact same itinerary as the one we were given, that would have simplified matters. In addition, because we weren’t too sure of what the tipping scenario was for our guides and driver. It would be a good idea if this information was included in the itineraries, specifically the rates. While I realise this is largely on a personal preference basis, a general idea of an amount would help to avoid any awkward situations that may arise.

  1. Accommodation:

Army Hotel (In Hanoi): It was fine, close to the old quarters and where we wanted to go. I wouldn’t quite rate it a superior hotel but we enjoyed our stay there.

Bai Tho Boat (In Ha Long): We had a great night.

Huong Giang Hotel (In Hue):Beautiful hotel. Highly recommended.

River Beach Resort (In Hoi An): Another great hotel that I would highly recommend.

Green Hotel (In Nha Trang):It was fine, but not quite a superior hotel

First Hotel (In Ho Chi Minh City): Again, fine. We enjoyed our stay. There was a small hiccup when we left to go to the Mekong Delta. There was some reservations regarding whether the tour company had paid the accommodation.

Golf Can Tho Hotel (In Can Tho): It was fine. Another good hotel. Staff were friendly.

  1. Transport (Land, water and air):

We enjoyed all our travel, whether it be by car, boat or air flights.

  1. Restaurants:

In the North: Great.

In the Centre: Fine

In the South: Great. There was one restaurant where we had lunch one day in the Mekong Delta and I would not recommend that. Your tour guide could probably inform you of which restaurant that was

  1. Places you visited:

Enjoyed them all.

  1. Design and management of your tour:

Elizabeth and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour

  1. Are there any recommendations or criticisms of services, restaurants, shops, visit sites and so on that you’ve visited on your own?

Apart from that one lunch at the particular restaurant and the above advice about tipping guidelines for guides and drivers, everything else was fine and I would highly recommend your tour company to my friends
